Tirzepatide Dose Calculator

Work out exactly how many insulin-syringe units your weekly tirzepatide dose is. Enter the vial strength, how much bacteriostatic water you added, and the dose you plan to take — the calculator returns the mg/ml concentration, volume per dose, syringe units, and how many doses the vial will last.

Units assume a standard U-100 insulin syringe, where 100 units = 1 ml.

How the calculation works

  1. Concentration (mg/ml) = milligrams in the vial ÷ millilitres of water added.
  2. Volume per dose (ml) = your dose in mg ÷ concentration.
  3. Syringe units = volume per dose × 100 on a U-100 insulin syringe.

Tirzepatide is taken once weekly, so one vial usually covers several weeks. Always follow the dosing your prescriber has given you, and double-check your own numbers before drawing up.
